China Itinerary – March 2019
Check in at IAH International Airport for an early morning departure, China Air Flight CA996 departs at 1:00am to Beijing. Your adventure begins as you fly trans-Pacific aboard a wide cabin jetliner. During the flight you will cross the International Dateline.

Arrive in Beijing, the Capital of China at 4:50am. You will be met by your local tour guide at the airport. First stop, Tian An Men Square, the largest square in the world, and the Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City, home of 24 emperors with a total space of 9,999 rooms. After lunch the group will be transferred to the hotel for a well-deserved rest.
Visit the 2008 Beijing Olympic venues for the outside views of National Stadium the Bird’s Nest and the National Aquatic Center. Continue the tour to the Great Wall of China. En route to the wall we will be visit the Jade Factory. The Great Wall, the 4,000- mile long and 2,000 years old construction is said to be the only man-made structure visible by naked eye from the moon. Visit one of the Ming tombs, one of 13 Ming Emperors’ Tombs is fully excavated and open for exploration. A special traditional dinner of Peking Roast Duck has been arranged for us.
Visit the Temple of Heaven, built in 1420 A.D., where the emperors prayed to the heaven for a good harvest. Visit the Pearl Market. The city tour continues with the Summer Palace, known for many architectural marvels such as the Long Corridor with painted gallery, Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill, Seventeen- Arch Bridge and Marble Boat.
(Grand Metro Park Hotel Suzhou/4star, 1355 Jinjihu Avenue, Suzhou Industrial Park, Tel: 0086-512-62800666) Morning flight to Shanghai Flight CA1835 with an 8:00am/departure and a 10:15am arrival. The group will be then take a bus ride to Suzhou. Afternoon sightseeing at the Tiger Hill Pagoda.

Continue the tour with the centuries old Lingering Garden. Afternoon visit to the National Embroidery Institute to see silk embroidery, an important local craft with a 1,000-year old history. Depart Suzhou via bus to Hangzhou.

Free Trade Zone, Tel:0086-21-31219999) In the morning have a boat ride on West Lake with relaxing stopover at jewel-like pagodas. Visit the Longjing Green Tea Plantation. The centuries old Lingyin Temple, with the main feature of the 64.3-foot-high camphor-wood carved Buddha. Continue the bus journey to Shanghai.
The Bund, famous waterfront park. Visit the Shanghai Silk Rug Factory. Afternoon enjoy the Yu Garden, a maze of marvelous pavilions, ponds, rock works and overarching trees. Free time exploration of the old town bazaar.
Depart by morning flight CA1590 8:55am/11:15am to take a stopover at Beijing. Flight CA995 will depart in the afternoon by 3:00pm for IAH where you will arrive at 3:40pm on the same day.
